Primeira Tentativa

A primeira tentativa que fiz de utilizar uma distribuição Linux foi com o Peanut Linux, não me lembro se versão 7 ou 8. A vantagem dela é que era possível instalar como uma aplicação do Windows. Assim era possível experimentar sem ter que formatar a máquina. Foi neste mesmo Pentium 75 citado abaixo. Quando o Linux era iniciado ele "derrubava" o Windows. Antes dos "live cd's", esta era uma solução, distribuições Linux que se instalavam como aplicações Windows. Meu problema foi que não consegui fazer funcionar minha placa fax-modem Genius GM331.
Olhando na Internet, vi que esta distribuição, Peanut Linux, agora se chama "ALinux" (http://alinux.org).

First try I made to use a Linux distribution were with Peanut Linux, I am not sure if 7 or 8 version. Its advantage is thas was possible to install as a Windows application.
